The anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties of cinnamon were put to the test for migraine management. Migraine, the most common primary headache type, has increased levels of inflammation. Compared to a control option, cinnamon significantly reduced levels of inflammatory agents, interleukin-6 and nitric oxide.
