Eating right just may keep you living
longer! Yorkville Chiropractic and Wellness Centre knows many Toronto chiropractic
patients who will love to hear this! There is increasing
evidence that fruit and vegetable consumption influences all-cause mortality. In a study of over 6000 people over 6 years,
eating more fruits and vegetables (particularly
in those who had 7 servings or more a day) reduces
all-cause mortality. (1) The variety of fruits and vegetables takes
on an important role in lowering inflammation and
decreasing C-reactive protein (CRP) concentrations as well. (2)
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE INTAKE IMPROVES BMD
Lower bone mineral density (BMD) folks see
more positive results of consuming
more fruits and vegetables and a lower occurrence of
osteoporosis, too. Yorkville Chiropractic and Wellness Centre has in its Toronto
chiropractic practice many Toronto chiropractic patients with
osteoporosis who want to do something to halt,
treat and prevent it. In one study, the more fruits and vegetables
consumed, the higher the BMD and lower the
